Wrapping up…and introductions! – Wolf Lure Opera

Pals, I’m luckily ensconced in my place of work in Vienna Virginia, plotting all issues opera for the 2022 season. Let me inform you that the ability was once an ocean – so deep that I’m wishing I had two times the selection of tasks to assign!

Additionally, let me congratulate each and every singer who put themselves available in the market and sang. We admire the artistry every of you shared with us. Thanks.

It’s not that i am within the place to speak about the 2022 season but, however I do have information to percentage! I’m overjoyed to introduce to you our two new workforce participants!


Zoe Jansen, Coordinator, Corporate Control

Zoe joined the workforce in August 2021, and has hit the bottom operating! A former level supervisor, Zoe transitioned to Arts Admin, and has labored for Piedmont Opera, the Princeton Competition and The Metropolitan Opera. At the weekends you’ll be able to to find her attempting new eating places, purchasing too many vacation decorations for any upcoming vacation, and beginning new crafting tasks each and every week. Her favourite opera is L. a. bohéme. She grew up coming to Wolf Lure as a concertgoer, and appears ahead to serving to us release our 2022 season.

Arianna Zukerman, Supervisor, Creative Management

Arianna joined the Wolf Lure Opera & Classical Programming workforce mere days in the past! She has an intensive acting background in each opera and chamber track. In fresh seasons she has carried out with the Richmond Symphony, the Nationwide Philharmonic, and our colleagues at Opera Lafayette. She was once nominated for a GRAMMY® award for the 2013 Naxos recording of James Whitbourn’s oratorio, Annelies, the primary main choral environment of The Diary of Anne Frank.

Arianna was once born right into a musical circle of relatives. Her father is violinist/violist/conductor Pinchas Zukerman; her mom is flutist, creator and humanities broadcaster, Eugenia Zukerman; and her sister Natalia Zukerman is an achieved singer/songwriter.

A previous recipient of the Sullivan Basis Award, Ms. Zukerman was once a member of the Bavarian State Opera’s Junges Ensemble. She studied theatre at Brown College and gained her Bachelor of Song from the Juilliard College. She lives with within the DC house her husband and two daughters.

We’re overjoyed to have Zoe and Arianna with us, and stay up for introducing them to you – in particular person – at our 2022 performances!
