Andrew Scott will go back to the West Finish with VANYA, in a brand spanking new adaptation of Chekhov’s masterpiece by means of Simon Stephens, and directed by means of Sam Yates. Designed by means of Rosanna Vize, the manufacturing opens on the Duke of York’s Theatre on 21 September, with previews at Richmond Theatre from 28 August to two September and previews within the West Finish from 15 September, operating till 21 October.

The manufacturing reunites Scott and Stephens who in the past collaborated on Sea Wall and Birdland; and Scott with Yates following their paintings in combination at the brief movie, The Hope Rooms; and manufacturers Benjamin Lowy and Emily Vaughan-Barratt from Wessex Grove after running with Scott on Sea Wall and Hamlet respectively.
